We have such exciting news to share! As many of you are aware, we have been in prolonged negotiations with LABA’s current landlord. However, after several fruitless months, we concluded that it was best for us to move to a new location. We are delighted to announce that LABA has secured a terrific new space in Sherman Oaks with a more reasonable and welcoming landlord.

The new LABA space is located opposite the Sherman Oaks Galleria at 15255 Ventura Blvd, Annex 3 (behind the Union Bank building), and will have four sizable studios with state-of-the-art sprung floors, Marley floors, and mirrors, and will easily accommodate the class and Team rehearsal schedule of previous years. 

From the current Studio, drive 1.5 miles east on Ventura, turn left on Sepulveda, and then right on the small residential Moorpark Street. The entrance to the new studio is on your right, along the walkway between the Union Bank annex and the adjacent Parking Structure. Cost Plus World Market is on the same block as the bank and studio, Whole Foods is on the next block on Sepulveda, south of Ventura, and, of course, the Sherman Oaks Galleria, with its many shops and eateries, including Starbucks, is just across the street. 

There is ample metered street parking (one & two hours) on Moorpark Street and along the streets connecting Ventura Boulevard to Moorpark Street, as well as the Union Bank/Cost Plus World Market’s paid parking structure adjacent to our new space.

The move takes place next week – just in time for the LABA Summer Intensive, July 12 – August 6! 

Even as we remember fondly the fun times we enjoyed in the Encino studio, we look forward to welcoming you all to the new LABA home. Let’s celebrate the opportunity to make new memories as we balance, pivot, jump and turn in our terrific new space in Sherman Oaks!
